Job Location : London, UK
Our client is a leading Chartered Wealth Management firm in London with a strong footprint in the industry.
They have trebled the size of the business through organic growth, client referrals, recommendations and staff development, they are now set for more growth next year. They offer truly holistic financial planning advice and guidance to their clients, many of which fall into the high-net-worth category, so they deal with more complex and interesting cases. Having recently promoted their current Paraplanning Manager into a more strategic Operational role, they are now looking for an experienced Paraplanning Manager to join their close-knit Senior Management Team, to take responsibility for the paraplanning function.
This is a pure management role, so you will need to be highly technically competent, as the team has a broad skills set. The role will cover all aspects of staff management, from recruitment, appraisals, reviews, creating and running training and skills enhancement courses, along with agreeing individual personal development plans.
The role also offers a high degree of autonomy, where you will be expected to review all current systems, processes and procedures and make recommendations on any areas that you have identified that you feel can be improved upon, to reduce admin time and enhance the clients and Advisers journey. As this is a high profile and strategically important role within the business, you will also work closely with the Senior Management Team, taking an active part in monthly business reviews and future planning meetings, where you will be encouraged to help formulate and deliver on the future direction of the business.
To be eligible for this role, you will need to be at least level 4 Diploma qualified and ideally working towards or have gained your Chartered status. In addition to this, you must have a demonstrable track record of successfully managing Paraplanners in all facets of their day-to-day duties. This is an excellent career move for someone that is looking for a genuine opportunity to be part of the Senior Management Team, with the scope for a more senior role further down the line. Our client offers and excellent benefits package, full study support and the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis once you are fully up to speed with their systems and processes.
