Parks and Countryside Warden

Location: Basildon, Essex

Hours: 07:30am - 15:30pm

Days: Monday to Friday

Pay rate:£13.07 per hour

This is a Temporary position.

We are looking for determined candidates to join our local authorities parks and countryside team.

Key responsibilities:

• To work as part of a team and individually.
• Undertaking all maintenance and repairs as set out by plans.
• To complete horticultural tasks for example, grass cutting, pruning and litter clearance.
• To assist with open days and events at all sites.
• To patrol sites and report any incidents.
• To assist in improving public spaces.

Key person specification:

• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Experience using tractor and tractor mounted equipment would be advantageous.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Good meeting skills.
• Have knowledge of health and safety at all times.
