Job Description :

My client is looking for Production and Planning Administrator to work within their small, growing team on a Part Time basis but to work every day based in the office.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage daily interactions with suppliers (primarily in India and China) and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders to confirm collection details and vessel loading.
  • Coordinate with the Distribution Manager to manage goods receipt into the UK and plan delivery dates.
  • Produce and maintain weekly shipping reports and keep the master shipping reports updated.
  • Update the ERP system (Netsuite) with shipment details and communicate delivery dates to relevant departments.
  • Work closely with the Wholesale team to meet customer deadlines and avoid cancellations.
  • Provide ongoing administrative support to the Merchandising team, helping identify bestsellers and slow-moving products, and ensuring data accuracy in the ERP system.

Merchandising duties:

  • Providing administration support to the Merchandising team on an ongoing basis.
  • Identifying bestsellers and slow-moving products.
  • Developing a thorough working knowledge of the allocation system.
  • Providing admin support to ensure ERP system (Netsuite) and critical master reports data is always accurate.

Support other departments within the company when extra support is required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel, and experience with a stock management system.
  • Strong administrative, numerical, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships with suppliers, stores, and head office departments.
  • Resilience and flexibility to adapt to day-to-day challenges.
