Role Description

This role sits within the partnerships team at Academy Music Group (AMG). It requires an experienced partnerships / account manager to oversee the delivery of rights and contracts across all AMG venues to ensure effective and efficient delivery in line with brand and business objectives.

To work across several partnerships with partners from a variety of industries, being the day-to-day lead and expert externally and internally on partner industries/brands and our business. Building strategic solutions for partners, executing rights across the venue estate including strategy; ideation, experiential, creative direction, campaigns, and ticketing activity.

Building key relationships externally with partners and internally with all departments and employees of all levels. Working closely with Live Nation partnerships team to ensure a combined approach for partners. Must be adept at managing key documentation.

Experience within music and live events beneficial, must have experience in liaising with clients and agencies and thoroughly understand brand marketing.

  • Experience in marketing partnerships and working directly with brands
  • Experience at brand/rights holder/agency side preferred
  • Experience in live music and events preferred
  • Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication and experience dealing with enquiries for a client or partner
  • Eye for detail
  • Excellent admin skills and process driven
  • Ability to plan, manage workloads and organise using initiative
  • Awareness of the application of new marketing techniques including digital, social media and mobile applications
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

What the role includes

  • Manage the day to day on allocated partnerships
  • Build positive external partner relationships
  • Build positive internal relationships within a complex stakeholder structure
  • Ensure a strategic approach to all partnership delivery of contractual rights
  • Building strategy and annual/biannual/quarterly/always on campaign plans across brand partnerships with venues alongside the head of department
  • Create presentation decks, delivering them confidently
  • Building knowledge to be seen as go to expert for respective partners internally and externally
  • Regular communications with partners and any key internal contacts
  • Creating project timelines / schedules / reports and sharing to deadline
  • Assist and arrange venue visits
  • Manage on site activations where required
  • Manage partner promotion mechanics as part of an overall delivery plan
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure rights are delivered such as marketing and key results are shared
  • Monitor and proofread partner communications, working closely with HOD to approve
  • Assist on any ad hoc department requirements where requested
  • Represent AMG externally
  • Work closely with venues, being their key contact if any support is required from respective partners
