Location: Eastleigh Vacancy Type: Permanent/Full-TimeSalary: £29,000 - £33,800 OTE

We are pleased to be working with a family-run main dealership in Eastleigh, currently seeking a committed Parts Advisor to join their vibrant team. About the Role:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Handling customer enquiries promptly and courteously, promoting the benefits of available products and services, and adhering to trading terms, discounts, and payment handling procedures.
  • Accurate Ordering and Stock Management: Ensuring accurate ordering, checking, and location of all parts, and reporting any stock discrepancies or damage to the Service Manager.
  • Returns Management: Facilitating the safe return of old exchange units and warranty items, ensuring they are clean, fluid-free, and ready for credit return with the necessary paperwork.
  • Damage Prevention: Managing chargeable items correctly to avoid damage and ensuring timely return.
  • Packing and Dispatch: Packing and loading parts properly to prevent damage or loss, and organising dispatch via van delivery or postal/carrier services.
  • Relationship Management: Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers and updating prospect records as necessary.

About You:

  • Organisational Skills: Ability to plan, organise, and meet work deadlines effectively.
  • Quick Information Processing: Ability to quickly assimilate information and provide considered responses.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining high-quality, accurate work.
  • Strong Customer Service: Dedication to delivering excellent customer service, with the ability to understand and meet customer needs effectively.
  • Technical Expertise: A technical qualification or proven experience in working with vehicle parts. (Desirable but not essential)
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills for managing team interactions and external customer relationships.
  • Digital Literacy: Proficiency in PC and web applications.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 18:00
  • Saturday: 1 in 6 rota

    7.00am to 5.00pm

    7.30am to 5.30pm

    8.00am to 6.00pm

    Saturday: 8.00am to 12.00pm
