Higher Level Teaching Assistant Needed

- Contract: Full-time, Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
- Pay Rate: £130 - £150 per day (both PAYE and Umbrella available)

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the Class Teacher: Help with all aspects of class management.
- Teaching: Lead whole classes, groups, and individual sessions.
- Running Interventions: Both in groups and one-to-one.
- Safeguarding: Take responsibility for pupil welfare according to school policies.
- Feedback: Provide insights on pupil behaviour, relationships, and attitudes.
- Monitoring and Promoting Development: Keep an eye on pupils’ conduct and promote their overall well-being.
- Therapy Programs: Work with pupils on specialised programs under professional guidance.
- Leadership: Step up in the absence of Class Teachers.
- Planning: Develop and implement plans for pupils, including attending reviews.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant Diploma or equivalent Level 4 qualification or can demonstrate equivalent skills.
- Ideally, has a driving license due to the school’s location.
- If you have had direct experience supporting a family member or friend with ASD and want to get into the world of SEN, then you are also welcome to apply.
