Senior Pastry Chef - French European Brasserie
Rhubarb Recruitment is searching for a Senior Pastry Chef for a busy modern French European Brasserie in Central London. All-day dining, hyper-seasonal menus, and modern plating in an elegant and intimate dining room setting. This a premium restaurant working to the highest of standards.
The pastry department consists of a team of up to 8 pastry Chefs; shifts are 6 am-3 pm and 7 am - 4 pm. There is no "live service" as the dessert offering is displayed on a trolley wheeled around the restaurant and managed by the FOH staff. The pastry section fundamentally operates as a pastry shop/boutique; desserts for the day are made in the morning and afternoons are dedicated to MEP.
We will also simultaneously hire a Pastry Sous Chef.
You
You will need to demonstrate previous experience as a Senior Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef working in other premium quality pastry kitchens, 5* Hotels, restaurants, or Patisseries. You must be formally trained in classic French patisserie and able to confidently manage a team of between 3-8 pastry Chefs.
Salary
£45k-£50k plus benefits based on a 45-hour contract - 5 shifts a week, mornings only.
