Payroll Accountant - Flair for Recruitment : Job Details

Are you organised, diligent, and confident in managing complex processes with accuracy and efficiency?Our client, an award-winning investment and technology firm is seeking a Payroll Accountant to join their Bristol-based team on a Fixed Term Contract.Responsibilities include:

• Manage invoices, expenses, PO process, and cash flow forecasting
• Reconcile accounts, update journals, and oversee VAT reporting in Sage 50
• Process payroll data, maintain asset registers, and support audits and budgets
• Address finance queries, oversee benefits, pensions, and CAF applications
• Guide junior finance staff and handle ad hoc tasks as needed

About You:

• Experience with Sage Accounts, Sage Payroll, and large journal entries
• Skilled in bookkeeping and Excel
• Knowledge of cash flow forecasting and company benefits administration
