**Payroll & Benefits Manager - Chelmsford - Global Manufacturer (Flexibe Working)**
We are currently recruiting for a global manufacturer in one of the biggest growth sectors across the UK. This is a rare opportunity where our client is not looking for any kind of industry background but people who have strong payroll experience and have a background in implementing a new payroll system. Role:
You will be responsible for -
- Maintaining accurate employee records within the business’ payroll software
- Query resolution & investigation
- Updating of PAYE coding change notices
- Processing & reporting of PAYE related instructions to & from HMRC
- Compiling payroll data
- Net Pay, PAYE and NIC Reconciliations
- Conflict resolution for dealing with disputes between employees and managers pay enquiries
- Assist in collecting data for annual pay reviews, benefit renewals and Gender Pay Gap reporting
Candidate:
The ideal candidate will -
- Payroll Implementation and in-sourcing
- At least 3 years end to end payroll experience
- Comprehensive understanding of tax and payroll legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and systems skills
- Computer literacy in using Microsoft Office suite and payroll software
- Level 3 CIPP (desirable)
- Accounting experience (desirable)
Package:
- Basic Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (negotiable based on experience)
