This international law firm has a history going back to the 1930s. It is now a leading and award-winning firm with a client base encompassing some of the best names in retail, banking, real estate, sports and utilities.

They are now looking to hire a Payroll Coordinator on a contract basis. The role is to process start to finish payrolls for the clients (UK, UAE and Australia) and assist the Payroll Manager EMEAA with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of UK, UAE and Australia payrolls (start to finish, in house and outsourced)
- Providing accurate payroll data to the client payroll vendors within set deadlines
- Expert matter with calculating various payments / deductions / pro rations
- Manage UK and Australia payroll providers queries & assist them with payroll processing
- Check all payroll input in the software
- Prepare sign off analysis for Payroll Manager EMEAA for UK, UAE and Australia payrolls
- Good administration of payroll inbox on daily basis (response time maximum 24 hours)
- Prepare & send monthly UK Pension contributions to 3rd party
- Prepare any ad-hoc payments for sign off and payment (advances, cheques, etc)
- Prepare 3rd party payments (HMRC, GAYE, etc..) for sign off and payment
- Prepare reconciliations for reducing balance benefits (Season ticket, Loans, Ride2Work, etc)
- Prepare various payroll analysis as requested by Payroll Manager
Candidate Profile
- Excellent UK PAYE knowledge (statutory rules)
- Able to manually perform various gross to net calculations and excellent understanding of taxation of various pay elements and benefits.
- Excellent knowledge around parental leave statutory rules and manual calculations
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (mainly excel) - you will be managing a high volume of data to perform various and complex payroll analysis and reconciliations
- Experience with coordinating outsourced and in-house payrolls (highly manual payroll processes).
- Good understanding of benefits and pensions and their management via payroll
- Used to operate independently and self-check work before submitting for review / sign off
- Able to come in and hit the ground running - this role is very busy and only suitable for a very focused and experienced Payroll coordinator
- Excellent analytical and logical skills
- Manual payroll journals preparation
- International payroll experience
