Axi Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established accountancy firm in central Hull for a Payroll Coordinator. The role of the Payroll Coordinator will join a company in a growth period and will contribute to a dynamic, experienced and talented Finance Team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the payroll process for the company.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including data entry, calculations, and deductions.
- Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyse payroll data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and payroll records.
- Stay up to date with changes in payroll regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- Degree educated in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
- Proficient in using payroll software such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or other HRIS systems.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
