The role…

This role will be mainly to support the Head of Payroll & Benefits with the processing of multiple international and UK payrolls and to assist with any associated ad-hoc tasks.

What you'll be doing...

  • Processing of multiple monthly and bi-monthly international payrolls using various payroll systems and international payroll providers
  • Ensure we’re fully compliant with relevant legislation in all countries
  • Be responsible for bedding in a process for new international payrolls as a result of mergers and acquisitions and subsequently train up Payroll Team members
  • Be an escalation point for more complex issues
  • Ensure employees are paid correctly and on time
  • Cover end to end processing of UK payroll, including the total set up of new payrolls when needed
  • Complete all UK year end procedures
  • Deal with payroll queries from employees and external payroll providers
  • Assist the Head of Payroll & Benefits with various ad-hoc administration tasks

What we are looking for...

  • Minimum of three years’ experience working within a Payroll environment at senior level
  • Experience processing international payrolls, especially US would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and develop, Team members
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and complete work to a high standard under pressure
  • Confident, adaptable personality with a positive attitude towards change and new challenges
  • Experience of working in a large, fast paced business
