Experienced Payroll Manager required for a successful financial services business based in Harrogate with a simple but very effective strategy:

Duties to include but not limited to:
- Managing a small payroll team.
- Processing end-to-end payroll and CIS on both a weekly and monthly basis.
- Dealing with all queries relating to payroll.
- Calculate all payments due to HMRC and pension providers and ensure these are submitted to HMRC/pension providers promptly.
- Calculate all SSP, SMP and other payments and deductions from salaries.
- Liaise directly with clients for information on a monthly/weekly basis.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
- Experience of managing a small team is essential.
- You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required.
- Good IT skills are essential.
- Knowledge of Sage Payroll is desirable.
