Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for all employees using Sage 50 Payroll, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates.
  • Compliance: Ensure all payroll activities comply with HMRC regulations and company policies.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports to management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Communication: Liaise with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Year-End Processes: Assist with year-end payroll processes, including P60s and P11Ds.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably using Sage 50 Payroll.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in payroll management or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent numerical and analytical skills, and proficiency in Sage 50 Payroll.
  • Knowledge: Thorough understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC regulations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
