A new, exciting opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join a Renewable Energy business based in Birmingham. The payroll team are looking to expand a to onboard someone who is ambitious, skilled, and knowledgeable in what they do, who are in search for a change to their career.
Main duties include:
- Processing Payroll across multiple business entities
- Being responsible for the payroll function via outsourced payroll provider.
- Managing Payroll calculations and transactions weekly/monthly, ensuring completion is accurate and in a timely manner.
- Being up to date with latest legislations and have a wealth of knowledge within payroll.
- Be the go-to for any Payroll queries, escalating where needed.
- Knowledge of the business policies and procedures.
- Processing timesheets, pay rates and benefits across all employees.
- Supporting Payroll Manager with weekly and monthly end to end payroll process
- Providing Tax Year End support with request
- Other Ad Hoc duties.
Ideal Candidate:
- Have minimum of 3 years Payroll experience
- Bureau Payroll experience
- Experience within Renewable Energy sector would be desirable.
- Knowledge of latest Payroll legislation.
- Computer Literate
- Ambitious and enthusiastic attitude
