Job Title: Payroll Assistant

Location: Coventry Salary: Up to £32,000 per annumEmployment Type: Full-Time, Hybrid

About Us:Macildowie are proud to be partnered with a leading business based in Coventry on the hunt for a payroll assistant.

Role Overview:As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in processing accurate and timely salary payments for all colleagues and ensuring compliance with UK Legislation, National insurance and pensions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of manual and computerised payrolls, to include all pay methods and frequencies
• The ability to work to strict and tight deadlines
• Prior knowledge of payroll and HR systems, both integrated and interface driven
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office products, including file relationships and data import / export techniques.

Qualifications:

• Ideally 5 years experience within Payroll.
• Experience with end to end payroll.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
