PCB Production Operator:
- To undertake mechanical production tasks, which includes the use of small hand tools, mechanical drivers, test and calibration equipment
- Hand solder PCBA’s including rework PTH and SMT components
- Solder parts for the Aviation industry
- Be able understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures. (SOP's)
- To achieve the targets and quality standards set out by Production Management.
- To work efficiently and effectively as an individual or as part of a team.
- Have the ability to work with cross functional and mixed ability teams.
- Provide daily support to meet customer's daily expectations
- Ensure that time and quality is of the essence in every activity. Accept that teamwork is a fundamental part of your job. Be flexible enough to comply with all reasonable requests asked of you.
- Ensure that regular communication is maintained with the Production supervisor to advise of any issues adversely affecting your performance, any quality/equipment issues must be raised in a timely manner.
- Ensure critical issues are quickly recognised and resolved.
- Create an effective focused working relationship with key internal customers and suppliers. Work as a team - driving quality and performance - recognise your customers and suppliers and ensure partnership activities are always a priority.
- To maintain high levels of communication at all levels.
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times.
- Maintain high levels of Quality at all times
- Keep work area clean and tidy.
- Promote, demonstrate and maintain a quality culture including, housekeeping.
The hours are 7.30am-4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 7.30am-12.30pm Friday paying £12.49 per hour, this position is ongoing with the view to being a permanent job for the right candidate.
