Pensions Data Technician Senior Pensions Administrator Scheme Events GMP Remote working - Profile Search & Selection Ltd : Job Details

We are working closely with a TPA who are urgently looking to recruit Pensions Data Technicians, remote working, in GMP, Data or Scheme Events. Consideration will be given to Senior Pensions Administrators with Advanced excel skills, (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, ability to manipulate data in bulk, data reports etc.)

What you’ll be doing:

• To lead on the delivery of assigned projects and scheme events.
• To promote the provision of a first class experience for customers and to share knowledge and expertise with other team members.
• Performs data processes, including the following:

• Running and specifying data extracts from the administration system including bespoke reports.
• Transforming extracted data or data received into the required format and structure
• Performing and specifying data uploads to the administration system
• Building Mail Merge letters
• Performing bulk calculations in Excel
• Building and enhancing Excel templates and macros for regular jobs
• Providing project updates and time scales to Scheme Events Leads, Project Managers and Scheme Event Manager.
• Identifies opportunistic income work and provides cost estimates to the client and commercial teams.
• Acts as an Subject Matter Expert for large internal change and client projects.

What we’re looking for:

• Knowledge of DB and/or DC schemes
• Pension administration and work management systems
• Advanced excel skills, (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, ability to manipulate data in bulk, data reports etc.)
• Accuracy, attention to detail and quality management
• Project Management Skills
• A Level Maths or Degree with maths element or Work experience involving complex data analysis
