People Operations Assistant

My client, a national housing association, are seeking a People Operations Assistant for an immediate start in an ongoing temporary booking. This role is ideal for someone who is adept at handling day-to-day transactional processes within People Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and preserving strong relationships with internal colleagues, providing accurate and timely customer service, and resolving People transactions and administration queries within agreed service levels.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage the resolution of customer issues with ownership and accountability.
- Support tasks and activities that span the entire colleague lifecycle.
- Assist with the transactional processes within the People Operations department.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to queries, ensuring service levels are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues to facilitate effective service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within People Operations or HR.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of accountability and ownership.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
