The Role

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional HR support while mentoring and developing others?

Join Holland and Barrett as a People Services Advisor, where you'll play a pivotal role in resolving complex HR queries while mentoring and supporting our HR team. With a focus on compliance, collaboration, and innovation, you'll contribute to a seamless employee experience and ensure HR excellence in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve second-line HR queries, including Right to Work, employment contracts, and flexible working requests, ensuring legal and policy compliance.
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations and Resourcing teams to address intricate HR processes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, guiding HR Administrators and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Drive process improvements by identifying recurring trends and sharing actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and GDPR, mitigating risks effectively.
  • Leverage digital tools and AI to enhance HR query tracking and resolution efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop HR Administrators to handle complex queries with confidence.
  • Proactively support operational coverage, ensuring a consistent and high-quality HR service.

Location: Based in Nuneaton (CV10 7RH). This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be in the office 2- days per week.

The Person

  • Proven HR advisory experience, with expertise in employment law and immigration.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and AI applications for HR processes.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills for tracking and resolving queries.
  • Experience in collaborating across HR teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach to identifying risks and proposing solutions.
