We are seeking a dedicated Performing Arts Teacher with a strong focus on Drama to join our dynamic team in Wakefield. This full-time position is available immediately and offers the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of students.

Requirements:

• Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., QTS or PGCE) and subject expertise in Drama.
• Experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting.
• A commitment to enhancing student's learning and fostering a love for performing arts.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in Performing Arts, primarily focusing on Drama.
• Plan, prepare, and assess student's progress in line with the curriculum.
• Inspire students to develop their skills, confidence, and passion for performing arts.
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities, including school productions and drama clubs.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
