Personal Advisor - Octave Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

We are looking to recruit a Personal Advisor.

The role is paying £18.50 per hour umbrella.

You will be required to work 36 hours per week.

Job details -

• To ensure that young people leaving the care of the local authority are well prepared to do so and have support in place to make the move to adulthood successfully.
• To provide both emotional and practical support with housing issues, managing money, health and life skills. Staff need to be able to work flexibly and creatively.
• You will be working with a diverse group of young people in the community and so will need to be confident and able to work autonomously.

Desirable -

• Experience of recent direct work with young people (preferably care leavers)
• Knowledge of the statutory functions of the local authority in relation to care leavers and have excellent communication skills.
