Are you a talented an experienced Personal Assistant with experience of supporting the business and the family? If so, I have a client that needs your A game.

My Client are a family run business in the care industry, looking for an experienced Personal Assistant who is able to support the Senior Management Team at the office location, as well as being able to support the growing family at their home location. This family live extremely busy lives from both the work and a personal perspective and now require exceptional support, ensuring that both elements run smoothly.

Supporting the Senior Management team will include providing daily diary and email management with the awareness that plans can change significantly at potential very short notice, as well as travel, accommodation, and expenses. You will also be responsible for the SMT’s administration which will include compiling and preparing reports, attending meetings and taking minutes, creating presentations and managing correspondence.

From a household perspective, you will be required to support the smooth running of the household with scheduling and overseeing home maintenance, handling pet-related responsibilities, managing family calendars and personal errands, undertaking household and organisational projects, maintaining financial records, travel arrangements and any other general administrative tasks that may be required.

You will be the backbone of this Family from a dual perspective and your role will be pivotal in ensuring that their time is optimised, and their administrative tasks are handled with precision and care.

The role will be based at the office in Southend on Sea but will require travel to the home location in the Castle Point area.

What will you need:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Senior PA position
  • Experience of supporting a Family from a PA perspective
  • The ability to work on your own initiative with good self-motivation
  • First class communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Exceptional organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure, delivering to tight deadlines
  • Discretion and confidentiality of the highest degree
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks
  • An approachable low-ego personality with high emotional intelligence
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Driving licence and a car
