PERSONAL INJURY NQ SOLICITORLocation: ManchesterSalary: £36,000, plus a very generous commission scheme, paid monthly in arrearsRole OverviewAn award-winning law firm, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic newly qualified solicitor to join its growing team in the Personal Injury department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading firm that deals with personal injury and clinical negligence claims on a national scale. The role involves handling a diverse caseload, including pre- and post-litigation personal injury claims from cradle to grave. The firm prides itself on sourcing all of its work from high-quality, non-CMC sources, ensuring that you work on genuine and meaningful cases.Candidate Profile/Experience NeededWe are looking for a solicitor who demonstrates the following professional qualities:
  • At least six months’ experience within the personal injury sector.
  • A focus on exceptional client care and quality control.
  • Experience managing a caseload with supervision, including risk assessments, file setup, and relevant paperwork.
  • Ability to conduct legal research, provide sound advice, and draft legal documents such as pleadings, witness statements, and schedules of loss.
  • Proven track record of billing for litigated caseloads and progressing cases to trial/disposal hearings.
  • Knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), litigation trends, and the ability to use these to achieve optimal client outcomes.
  • Experience with Proclaim case management system is advantageous, but not essential.
