Pharmacist Manager - Prospect Health : Job Details

The pharmacy is located in the heart of the village of Beltinge (very close to sea views) and they form part of the main shopping parade there. They are located next door to a very busy dental practice and have a loyal customer base and experienced team of dispensers and counter staff.If you are a dedicated Pharmacist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives, we encourage you to apply.

Key Duties

• Dispense and check prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Provide advice to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Participate in all available NHS services including Covid and Flu Vaccinations
• Collaborate with local healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive medication treatment plans
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards of practice
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records / Controlled Drug registers
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, coach and nurture your team to improve the performance of the branch.

Package and Benefits

• 7.5 hour shift Monday to Friday
• 4hrs Saturday (this can be every Saturday or at least alternate Saturdays)
• £25-£30 per hour
• Expected hours: 37.5 - 41.5 per week
• Free parking

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience
• GPHC Registered
• Drive and Passionate Pharmacist
