Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay rate: £20.15

Main duties of the job

As a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist, you will work autonomously within a dedicated team to provide advanced physiotherapy assessments, diagnosis, and treatments. This role will enable you to:

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy care, from assessment to treatment and discharge planning, using evidence-based practices.
  • Provide specialist advice and education to patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Lead on clinical practice initiatives to elevate the profile of the service.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff and undergraduate physiotherapy students.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure adherence to HCPC standards.
  • Work across Orthopaedic In-patient Wards and MSK Outpatients, with opportunities for cross-site collaboration.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent with HCPC registration.
  • Proven postgraduate experience, particularly in Orthopaedics and MSK.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, analytical, and judgmental skills for complex cases.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to team collaboration.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centred care.
