This role is crucial for delivering outstanding products to our discerning clients, ensuring projects are estimated accurately and planned efficiently to maintain our reputation for quality and exceptional service.

• Estimating:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects involving multiple print techniques, such as lithographic and digital printing, engraving, foiling, and various finishing processes.
  • Analyse project specifications and visuals to prepare comprehensive estimates.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive prices for materials and services.
  • Review historical data and market trends to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Present estimates to internal stakeholders.
• Planning:
  • Develop production schedules in collaboration with the Production Manager and external suppliers.
  • Coordinate with sales, production, and design teams to align production capacity with project demands.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules to address delays or issues.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources to meet project deadlines.
• External Suppliers:
  • Action production jobs with external suppliers and conduct quality checks.
  • Monitor progress to ensure external production schedules meet project deadlines.
  • Work with the production team on continuous improvement initiatives.

• Proven experience in estimating and planning within the print industry.
• Strong understanding of print production processes, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with high attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in estimating software and production planning tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
