Planning and Highways Lawyer
Hybrid and Agile Working
£47,989 - £53,964plus competitive benefits
Warwickshire Legal Services seek to recruit a Planning and Highways Lawyer to join their award-winning in-house legal team and provide expert advice and guidance on a broad range of planning and enforcement matters.
The position will allow you to strike an excellent work-life balance with true agile working. On top of this, you can take advantage of the benefits that come with a non-corporate practice. You’ll see cases through to completion, enjoy a high level of responsibility and get more hands-on experience while getting a better work-life balance and greater flexibility.
At Warwickshire Legal Services, we run a very different kind of in-house legal team. We have the freedom to practice as a business within Warwickshire County Council, generating our own income from internal teams and a diverse pool of public sector clients.
We have pioneered a system of agile working which provides our lawyers with the opportunity to work within the office environment and remotely. Our positions are full time at 37 hours per week, but we are also open to part-time working.
Few Local Authorities operate this way, and our approach gives you a unique environment to further your career working with a talented, friendly and supportive group of innovative legal professionals. Our clients are diverse, and the work is stimulating and varied with the opportunity to work on challenging projects that make a meaningful difference.
The team is currently made up from lawyers from the public sector, private sector and home-grown talent and we would welcome applicants from a range of legal backgrounds including lawyers who are interested in beginning a new career in local government.
