JR212: Plant OperativeLocation: MortimerSalary: £30,823.72 Per Annum Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Plant Operative on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate fixed and mobile plant as instructed by the Quarry Manager in a correct and safe manner.
• Carry out repair and maintenance work on fixed and mobile plant as instructed by the Quarry Manager.
• Ensure that all plant and machinery on site is operated and maintained in accordance with the Manufacturers' written instructions and the Company's prescribed schedules.
• Undertake on site and external training as requested.
• Carry out manual labour tasks as required.
• Undertake any other duty as may be reasonably assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience using mobile plant including dumpers, loading shovel and 360° excavators in a similar environment and hold certified tickets.
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 (SPMO) (Desirable)
• Mechanical knowledge (Desirable)
• Previous experience working within a quarry environment (Desirable)
• 360 Excavator Ticket
