Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Plumber seeking your next contract?My client has an immediate opportunity for an Unvented qualified Plumber to join their team on an initial interim basis, leading to a permanent job for the right person.

The successful applicant will join a thriving Property Services Team, delivering a responsive repairs service to customers throughout the housing stock.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver an efficient, compliant, and consistently high standard of repairs service to customers, ensuring that customer satisfaction is at the heart of every job you complete.
• Ensure that work is carried out to a professional standard, adhering to building regulations, codes of practice or best practice.
• Always ensure that all works comply with relevant health and safety legislation, policies and procedures in the performance of the duties of the post. Including understanding of risk assessments and method statements which will include appropriate use of equipment, PPE, and safe working practice.
• Deliver works on time and first time wherever possible
• Use and apply a 'Schedule of Rates’ for job costing repairs and ensuring repair orders are varied to correct value.
• Complete and maintain paperwork and records accurately in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Competently use a smart phone and tablet device to accurately record progress and completion of jobs, timesheets and material use.
• Procure job related materials through our main partnering suppliers in accordance with our policies.
• Maintain a comprehensive van stock of materials, completing works in the most cost-effective manner.
• Maintain the works vehicle in good condition, keep it clean and carry out regular vehicle safety checks reporting any defects to the Fleet Manager & support team.
• Assist all other trades as and when required ensuring that residents receive the best possible quality service.

Requirements:

• Be competent to complete a wide variety carpentry, plumbing and other trade tasks at multiskilled level
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing/ Time served will also be considered
• Unvented qualification
