Apprenticeship Skills Tutor – Plumbing and Heating
- Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (job share available, 2 x 18.5 hours per week)
- Location: South Yorkshire
- Salary: Up to £35,501 per annum including Market Force Supplement (up to £17,750.50 for 18.5 hours, dependent on qualifications/experience)
Join an Excellent FE College as an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor in Plumbing and Heating. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in planning, delivering, and assessing apprenticeships within the Plumbing Apprenticeship Frameworks & Standards.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coach, assess, and support apprentices on plumbing courses.
- Utilise e-portfolios and conduct on-site performance reviews and assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress using tracking systems and e-portfolios.
- Build and manage relationships effectively, handling a caseload of apprentices.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and organisations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or higher in a relevant industry.
- A1/V1 Assessors Award (or equivalent).
- Excellent IT skills.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- IQA Award is desirable.
