m2r Education are working with a leading further and higher education provider in Cambridgeshire who are looking for a Plumbing Lecturer to join their team.

They are seeking an interpersonal and self-motivated candidate with experience within the plumbing industry to join the Department of Construction.

This exciting role will involve the design and delivery of our plumbing courses to a wide range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings. The job role will also include contributing to the continued development of the department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the post.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a level 3 vocational qualification in Plumbing
  • GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths
  • Substantial, recent and relevant industrial experience relating to Plumbing
  • Certificate in Education/PGCE/ DTLLS/DET
  • Assessor qualifications A1 or equivalent
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Good organisational skills; able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to motivate people of all ages and abilities
