Plumbing Lecturer

We are inviting applications for a dedicated Plumbing Lecturer to join our educational team. This role involves teaching a variety of plumbing programmes, including NVQ Level 2, Diploma in Plumbing Levels 2 and 3, and Level 1 units in Plumbing and Building Services Engineering. This position is ideal for someone passionate about shaping the skills and futures of 16-18 year old learners.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver educational content on a range of plumbing programmes, including both theoretical and practical aspects.
- Engage and motivate learners aged 16-18 through effective teaching practices and compelling course materials.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer support where necessary to ensure educational goals are met.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance curriculum delivery and maintain the highest educational standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay current with industry and educational trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified to Level 3 in Plumbing.
- Proven experience working in the plumbing industry.
- Previous teaching or training experience within the subject area is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
- Commitment to professional development in teaching, with a willingness to undertake further training if necessary.
