PMLD Teaching Assistant - Prospero Teaching : Job Details

PMLD TA:

Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a caring and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with PMLD. This would be an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate. This is in a lovely school near Wigan.

The Role:

• Assisting with personal care
• Working with challenging behaviours
• Building rapport with parents and staff

Position Details:

• Location: Wigan
• Position: PMLD TA
• Hours: 8:30am-4pm
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time only
• Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: Jan 2025
• End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Relevant experience working with children
• Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
