PMO Lead - Stock/ Inventory Management - Birmingham

Salary - Up to £50,000

Birmingham - 1/2 days per week on-site.

Our client is seeking an experienced PMO Lead to lead a large-scale project deploying an end-to-end stock solution across their business. This role involves overseeing menu planning, purchasing, stock management, and waste recording through three key workstreams: System, Processes, and Data.

Responsibilities include:

  • Governance and Reporting: Develop and manage programme tools, maintain project governance structures, and monitor progress.
  • Workstream Coordination: Oversee System, Processes, and Data workstreams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources, manage conflicts, and support team development.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks and issues.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships, facilitate meetings, and manage expectations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality standards and conduct regular project reviews.

Skills/ Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing complex end-to-end projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Strong ownership and accountability: Can demonstrate a sense of responsibility for the project's success and takes accountability for outcomes.
  • Effective under pressure: Maintains composure and productivity under tight deadlines and high-stress situations.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented: Works well with others, fostering a positive team environment and facilitating effective teamwork.
