About The RolePurchase Order Administrator - CaerphillyWe have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Order Administrator to form part of our Purchase Order Team at our Head Offices in Caerphilly. The role will entail dealing with all customer queries and issues relating to the procurement of purchase order numbers effectively and efficiently by obtaining as much relevant information as possible and ensuring PHS systems are updated. You will be required to strive to achieve all department targets and objectives, remain customer focused and keep up to date with department changes. You will be required to:
- Obtain and maintain customer purchase order numbers while efficiently dealing with any queries or issues that may arise.
- Liase with other departments within the group to improve customer service and satisfaction.
- Assist in the training of new starters and existing team members.
- Participate in training courses that will enhance your performance within your role.
- Update and maintain the Purchase Order Database to ensure customer information os accurate and up to date.
- Understand and utilise software to reduce manual administration and to identify areas where you believe working practices can be improved and propose workable solutions for doing so.
- Any other tasks as dictated by the demands of the business.
Knowledge and skills required:
- Company knowledge
- Basic understanding of Microsoft packages such as Excel/Word/Outlook
- Good communication skills
- Organisational skills
- Decision making
- Be customer orientated.
- Show good attention to detail.
