Porter/Caretaker - NW8 - Temporary - Abbatt Property Recruitment : Job Details

We have Temporary Porter/Caretaker opportunity at a lovely residential development in the beautiful St Johns Wood area. You would be working each week on a Monday to Friday basis.

As a Temporary Caretaker you will be responsible for keeping the building clean and tidy at all times as well as monitoring access to the site, handling contractors and dealing with resident queries.

Key duties:

• Hoovering / Sweeping
• Polishing
• Daily removal of rubbish - up to 70 flats
• Litter-picking
• Manning the front desk and monitoring visitors entering the building
• Assisting with post and courier deliveries.
• Maintaining communication with Residents, Property Management Company and Abbatt
• Use initiative to solve any problems on site
• Sweeping the entrances
• Fire alarm testing (Dependent on site)
• Keeping daily log
• Monitoring contractors on site
• Ad hock tasks as instructed by management

You will need to have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good grasp of the English language.
• Be physically fit and willing to conduct all duties as required
• An excellent grasp of written and spoken English
• Understanding of Health and Safety processes
• A good knowledge of fire safety regulations

Hours: Mondays and Wednesdays 8am-6pm and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 0800-1400

Location: NW8

Salary: £11.50 -£12.89 Per hour
