As a future Portfolio Controller, Infrastructure Debt, you will report to Head of Infrastructure Finance, and you will be part of AXA IM Alts - Real Assets. DISCOVER your opportunity The role is critical to establish a bridge between the investment team and FMCG. The management of the portfolio is now extremely time consuming and the tasks involved need to be formalised and professionalised rather than being split between each team member. Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day management of a portfolio of 130+ infrastructure debt instruments (loans, private placements) which will continue to grow over time
- Perform annual credit reviews
- Diarise and review timely receipt of compliance certificates from borrowers
- Assess waivers and amendments and present course of action to the fund managers
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports for investors
- Review quarterly valuations produced by FMCG
- Liaise with FMCG in relation to drawdowns, repayments and prepayments
- Take responsibility for data integrity of the portfolio and contribute to initiatives to integrate data into one single source
- Review monthly investor updates produced by FMCG
Your ProfileSHARE your unique expertise We welcome different combinations of skills & experiences. Your qualifications, experience and skills:
- Several years' experience in portfolio management of project finance or infrastructure debt transactions
- Understanding of infrastructure sectors
- Thorough understanding of (infrastructure) loan and security documentation
- Understanding of financial models and ability to make basic adjustments
- Strong credit and risk analysis skills
- Experience in portfolio reporting
- Strong written reporting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Fluency in English. Any other European languages would be an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively with both the investment team and FMCG
- Experienced user of Excel, PowerPoint and Word. [Expertise in VBA would be an advantage]
