, you will report to our Head of Global Equity and you will be part of the AXA IM Global Equities Team.
DISCOVER your opportunity The AXA IM Equities Global Equities Investment team has a long and successful history of running a range of Global, US, Asia and Emerging Markets Investment Funds and Mandates in the UK and overseas. These include a range of US Equity funds and mandates that have a strong growth bias. You will co-manage this range of US equity funds and mandates, together with the current lead PM on the range. You will work as part of a truly collaborative team where your dedicated US Equity knowledge will be valued by both the Global Equity Investment team as well as across the wider investment team. The role is based in London, with regular travel to the US to attend conferences/meet companies. Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Successfully co-manage one or more of the US Equity strategies.
- Major part of the role is identifying growth/innovative companies suitable for our long-term investment/investment horizon.
- Take a key role in marketing, building AUM and the profile of the fund/funds.
- Work collaboratively with others in the business, internally and externally. Build relationships with key analysts on particular stocks.
- Be a proactive and willing contributor to supporting the wider investment team with US Equity expertise.
- Understand and conform to the relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
Your ProfileSHARE your unique expertise We welcome different combinations of skills & experiences. Qualifications and experience:
- Significant US Equity market experience
- Person needs to have a history of growth investing, primarily in mid-cap stocks. Long term investment holding period (3-5 years)
- Has portfolio management experience including a long-term track record and evidence of building AUM
- Experience of incorporating ESG within an investment view
Your knowledge and skills:
- General knowledge of world markets, economics and politics
- Financial modelling skills
- Portfolio management and risk management experience
- Must have a collaborative mindset
- Comfort in a client facing role required
- Fluent English, written and oral
