Postal Delivery Driver - Pertemps Cardiff : Job Details

Due to an increase in demand, Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail to source Postal Delivery Workers to support with their busy operation.- Location: Llandrindod Wells- Hours: Start between 11:00 - 14:00, finish approx.8pm- Shift: 5 days per week between Monday - Sunday- Hourly Rate: £13.37 per hour PAYE- Sundays: £14.49 per hour PAYE- Overtime after 40 hours worked £15.68 per hourAbout the Postal Delivery Worker role:You'll start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route. You will collect your allocated vehicle or trolley and your hand-held computer device (detailing your route and tracking your mail) and then deliver the letters and parcels to your local community.About You:- The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team.- You will be helpful and approachable displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round.- Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and due to the amount of walking required you will need to be relatively fit and healthy.- You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.Previous Experience:- Some previous experience in a customer facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential.- You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.Driving licence requirements:- A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)- Maximum 6 penalty points- Unfortunately, we are unable to accept IN/DD/DR/CD endorsementsIf you are interested in this role, please apply online or contact Pertemps South Wales on
