PPA Cover Teacher - Academics : Job Details

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups during teachers' PPA time. You will work in primary schools, ensuring continuity of learning while providing engaging, effective teaching in line with the National Curriculum. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys adapting to different environments and working with a range of pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons across various year groups and subjects
• Follow the provided lesson plans and adapt where necessary
• Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment
• Provide support and guidance to pupils as required
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
• Build strong relationships with staff and students at different schools

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching across various primary year groups
• Strong classroom management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to apply)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
