The business now has a requirement for a PQ Management Accountant to join their finance team in this newly created role.

The role will offer both commercial and financial reporting exposure and give you a strong insight into the running of the business and your efforts will be recognised at the highest level.

The role as PQ Management Accountant involves: -

• Assisting the production of the monthly management accounts with particular focus around stock management and the movement of goods.
• Monitor all cost centre controls and internal expenditure with particular focus around freight, movement of goods and logistics.
• Establish the reporting around margin control, profitability, pricing, and customer trends and make meaningful insights from the data.
• Accurately reporting the monthly accruals and prepayment schedule.
• Monitor the stock reconciliations to the general ledger balances across the company, reporting accurately any obsolete or end of line products.
• Develop the reporting around BOM’s ensuring all elements are allocated accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage the accurate reporting of all transactional processing within the general ledger assisting with controls where necessary.
• Support the Financial Controller with the closing of the month management pack and associated commentary of variances.

The role would suit a candidate who is Part Qualified Management Accountant and actively studying within the profession (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), and you will be working across the business providing financial and commercial influence. You will be able a strong communicator with all departments across the business, developing accountability of the financials across the Board, as well as be involved in several high-profile projects that are on the agenda for the next 12 months.
