  • Based in Burnley, Bradford, Camberley or Peterborough
PR SPECIALIST  Location: Burnley, Bradford, Camberley or PeterboroughSalary: Up to £39,000 plus benefits  A confident and outgoing PR Specialist is needed to as part of the marketing and communications team at this national housing group. You will seek out positive stories which will enhance the brand awareness and reputation of the company and it’s stakeholders. You will also respond to incoming stories and work on wider events.You will need excellent copywriting skills and previous experience in a PR role. Experience working in the public sector would be preferable.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilise your excellent copywriting skills to deliver content across multiple channels including; press releases, case studies, thought leadership pieces, stories on the web and award entries
  • Build relationships with teams and stakeholders across the business to identify good stories and case studies to publish
  • Identify opportunities to publish positive pieces to enhance the reputation and brand identity of the company
  • Manage the media relationships
  • Manage the press office and ensure timely responses when responding to enquires
  • Respond to corporate risk through media monitoring
  • Work with the wider team to create content across digital channels
  • Brief, report and present to senior stakeholders
  • Drive communications campaigns through from start to finish including testing and learning to ensure the quality of future campaigns
  • Work with the wider team on events
  Experience Required:
  • Previous PR and media relations experience is essential
  • Proven experience driving PR campaigns
  • Experience with crisis management and recovery experience as well as knowledge or managing reputational risk issues
  • Experience managing a press office and responding to media enquires
  • Proactive in sourcing new stories
  • An excellent copywriter able to produce quality content across multiple channels
  • Confident and able to form relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Highly organised and a self starter
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in the not for profit or public relations sector would be useful

Salary : 35000 - 40000
