Practice Accountant - Reed : Job Details

Location: Newport, South Wales (Hybrid - 3 days office-based)

Salary: Up to £45,000

About the Client: Our client is a small, boutique accountancy practice with a well-established, friendly team. They specialize in providing accounting services and tax advice to small businesses and sole traders.

Role: Our client is seeking an experienced accountant (AAT or qualified by experience) to join their team. This full-time position offers flexibility and hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Finalising accounts
• Preparing VAT returns
• Managing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Providing tax advice to clients

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounting for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Excellent English communication skills
• Local to the Newport area preferred
• No trainees, please
