Practice Accountant - Reed : Job Details

REED are exclusively working in partnership with a well known Ringwood based Accountancy Firm who are recruiting a Practice Accountant into the team. This role would suit an experienced Practice Senior who is accounts focused, technically strong and able to apply accounting standards knowledge.

Ringwood Based - Hybrid / Office Based 

Part Time / Full Time 

Salary - up to £55,000 per annum (dependant on experience) 

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of assigned clients with responsibility for planning jobs in and organising timescales for completion in addition to preparing year end accounts
• Monthly/Quarterly management accounts
• Ad hoc bookkeeping and completion of VAT returns
• Liaise with existing clients to resolve queries and assist with accounting matters.
• Personal and corporate tax returns.

Skills and experience:We are looking for a technically strong ICAEW/ACCA qualified accountant with recent practice experience 

The right candidate must be comfortable dealing with clients and have a flexible and positive attitude.

Working knowledge of Sage and Xero is required and knowledge of Quickbooks desirable.

This role is offered on either a full time or part-time (minimum 30 hrs per week) basis. Our Client offers hybrid working but would expect the right candidate to be office based for 50% of the working week.
