Practice Accountant - Shearer Associates Ltd : Job Details

Are you an accountant who has previous experience working in a practice environment? I have a great New role just for you!

Our Stroud based client is looking for an accountant to join their growing team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The office environment is a supportive and fun one where you can do meaningful work and feel truly valued while doing so.

Your key duties:

• Preparation and submission of personal and partnership tax returns

• Preparation and submission of Limited Company accounts and Corporation tax returns

• Liaising with and supporting clients in relation to the above

• General aspects of bookkeeping, including VAT returns

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, reviewing financial transactions including accruals

  and prepayments, depreciation and month end journals

• Statistical analysis and management reporting including cashflow forecast and budgeting

• Visiting some clients on a routine basis

Ideal candidate Skills:

• Experience managing multiple clients.

• Previous experience using Iris, Sage or Xero is essential.

• Experience using Quickbooks is desirable.

• Excellent attention to detail
