Practice Manager – (Legal Law Firm)

We are seeking a Practice Manager to oversee our operations and contribute to our mission.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Financial Management: Oversee financial operations including budgeting, financial reporting, and billing processes. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and monitor the firm’s financial health.
- Human Resources: Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations. Oversee training and professional development programs.
- Operations Management: Handle daily operational aspects such as office management, facilities, and technology. Ensure the firm has the necessary resources to support its legal work.
- Client Relations: Maintain and enhance client relationships, manage communication, address concerns, and ensure high-quality legal services.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Oversee adherence to legal industry regulations and codes of conduct.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic plans. Set goals, identify growth opportunities, and develop business strategies.
- Technology and Information Management: Manage the adoption and utilization of technology tools to streamline legal processes and enhance client service. Manage data and information security.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks such as legal malpractice or cybersecurity threats.
- Administrative Support: Oversee administrative staff responsible for scheduling, document management, and client intake processes.
- Marketing and Business Development: Engage in efforts to attract new clients and grow the firm’s client base.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using legal and office management software.
- Understanding of legal aid processes and regulations.
- Experience in a legal practice management role, preferably within a legal aid environment.
- Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and other relevant regulations.
- Professional qualifications in management or finance are desirable.
