Job Opportunity: Pre-Litigation File HandlerLocation: Greater Manchester

We are currently searching for someone who can run their own caseload while supporting senior fee earners on larger, more complex matters.

For the right candidate, this role offers a clear path toward a training contract, subject to a successful probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of Housing Disrepair claims, primarily at the pre-litigation stage, with opportunities to assist senior team members in litigation.
• Drafting correspondence, file notes, and legal documents such as witness statements.
• Preparing for and attending court hearings.
• Conducting legal research.
• Liaising with clients, third parties, surveyors, and the court.
• Proofreading and ensuring quality and consistency of documents.
• Meeting targets and KPIs to maintain exceptional client service standards.

About You:

• At least 12-18 months of experience handling Housing Disrepair files.
• A strong understanding of the Housing Disrepair Pre-Action Protocol.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Job Details:

• Position: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: £24,000-£28,000 per year (dependent on experience)
• Benefits: On-site parking
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
