School Premises & Facilities OfficerPermanentFull-Time37 hours per weekWe are currently supporting a school in Newcastle who are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Premises & Facilities Officer to join their team. This vacancy would be based in their Central Team, but working across their school sites is required. Must have a full UK driving licencePrevious school experience is desirable Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and security of school buildings and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects.
• Supervise cleaning staff and contractors.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and budgets.
• Responding to emergencies and urgent maintenance issues.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience in a school setting is desirable.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
