• Salary: £16.50 - £18.00 per hour
• Hours - Mon to Thurs 7.30 – 4.30, Friday 7.30 – 12.30

Reed are seeking a skilled CNC Brake Press Operator with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of engineering processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and adjusting aerospace components, adhering to technical drawings and ensuring production targets are met. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and communicate effectively with team members and line managers.

• Adhere to technical drawings, instructions, and processes.
• Program and operate Amada CNC Brake Press.
• Ensure production targets are met consistently.
• Manufacture and adjust aerospace components using hand/power tools and associated machinery.
• Communicate any issues that cannot be resolved immediately to the line manager.
• Share technical knowledge and understanding with team members.
• Participate in both external and internal audits, contributing to process improvement programmes.

• Proven engineering experience, particularly within the aerospace sector.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documents.
• Familiarity with first-off inspection procedures.
• Essential experience in programming CNC machinery.
• Numerate with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Manual skills and precision are crucial.
• Commitment to compliance with production, safety, and quality procedures.
